Having my hair trimmed at SANDSTORM @ Jurong Point

3pm.

Had my hair trimmed there but before that, some guy washed my hair. At first i thought he was quite nice and seemed pretty good. My opinion changed when he started washing my head. He didn't do the regular massage for my head, he didn't do the normal "scratch the scalp" procedure and when we got to the part where he washed my hair, i actually thought i'd forgive him for his past doings coz' his technique with washing my hair was rather sastifying. However, that bast*** left my hair wet and unblown after he washed my hair! Plus, usually a normal hairdresser would coat your hair with conditioner and rub it into your hair, but this guy was totally proposterous. He just coated my hair with little conditioner and then washed it off straight away! like WTF! I paid (no, my mom did) for a creative director haircut and i get some lousy washing from a normal senior hairstylist? Fark him, i was shivering coz' the air con was rather cold and my mom had to tell the salon hair director that her poor child is suffering, then they finally sent someone to blow dry my hair! Anywayz my new haircut is non too different from the old one, just a little shorter. I wanted something longer so the creative director told me to keep my hair for another 2-3 months. i guess nice haircuts need nice & long hair.

7.30pm - Dinner at IMM Yunnan Chinese Restaurant

I must say this is by far the WORST chinese restaurants EVER! i wonder how they survived 7 years of business. geez. i pity my mom coz' it's actually a pre-mother's day dinner as only my bro would be around to accompany her during that eventful day. Well anyway we ordered 1) steamed cod fish, 2) braised bean curd, 3) garlic spinach, 4) an entire roast duck - eaten 2 ways; the skin wrapped with sweet bean curd skin and the other way diced duck meat with cabbage leaves. THAT, was the only dish edible. The cod fish was UNFRESH, the spinach had SAND in them (so my mom had it changed to kailan) and the beancurd was just plain and unappetizing (considering i'm a beancurd fanatic, i judge every bean-made stuff i eat)
Total cost was: $90+
Ambience: sucked (with chinese karaoke at the bg)
Service: Average
I pity my mom. I seriously. i'm glad we paid for the meal, not her. she keeps telling us she's so pitiful coz' we're all leaving her and she'll be all alone sobbing and wasting time by watching tv... sigh* i love my mom, and i know i'll call her every now and then from taiwan!

Here's a tribute to the greatest mom ever! (mine) ^_^
I love you mom! Happy pre-Mothers' Day!!!

For the greatest mom that ever lived,
you brighten up each and every day of my life,
without you i would have never been born.
What more can i say and express,
but from using a simple yet clear way of saying,
Thank you mom.
